Furthermore, the Japanese could stand as a powerful enemy to the allies of U.S.A. and the Great Britain during the World War 2, and these were all possible from japan's victory in 1905. The history would had turned differently if Japan lost the Russo-Japanese War; firstly, the pearl-harbor battle attack on Pearl Harbor would not be possible (explain why this would not have happened, i.e. what would have happened in Japan to prevent the rise of the militarists) , and thus the U.S. could not bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki with atomic bombs. Secondly, the appearance of Soviet Union may had delayed as the Russo-Japanese war was one of the cause of ruin of Russian empire (Good thinking here. A very likely idea as this was a contributing factor to the Russian Revolution and the rise of communism in Russia). Lastly, the U.S. could not match up against the Soviet Union in Asia; probably the Soviet Union would had taken entire East and South-East Asia including the South Korea, Vietnam and Philippines.( A very good answer.
